Community Update: There are only a few homes left in this community! Please contact us if you're interested in scheduling a tour.

1. Fun Things to Do

The biggest reason to move is for the lifestyle. Around the Quintana community, there are many fun things to do. For example, the San Tan Valley is known for hosting the Arizona Renaissance Festival each March, so the area hosts jousting, archery, and other 16th-century activities.

You can also spend some time harvesting olives with your family. The Queen Creek Olive Mill is a popular attraction. You can take a tour of the olive groves and watch how they manufacture olive oil.

If you happen to be a golfer, the Golf Club at Johnson Ranch is only a short distance away from Queen Creek. To switch things up, you can also check out the Blue Star Resort and Golf.

2. Beautiful Arizona weather

Unlike some parts of the country, you won’t spend the holidays under a mound of snow when you live in San Tan Valley. In this area, you can typically expect very hot and dry summers. Wintertime can get cold, but the temperature rarely drops below 33°F.

For most of the year, the temperature ranges between 41°F to 104°F. In the summer, temperatures can go higher than 110°F. Because it is such a dry heat, the hottest days are still far more comfortable than you might expect.

If you love spending your day at the pool, the best time to be in the area is from the middle of August to late September and from early June to the middle of July. Thanks to its 292 days of sunshine, you can basically expect lovely weather throughout the year.

3. Every home is on a 1+ acre lot

Hopefully, you’ll fall in love with all of your neighbors. In case you end up with a noisy (or nosy) neighbor, it’s a good idea to keep some space between your home and theirs. Since each home at Quintana sits on at least an acre of land, you don’t have to worry about your neighbors getting too close.

Other than giving you some privacy, the added land is great for creating outdoor living spaces. You can play croquet or install a backyard pool. No matter what you choose to do, the extra outdoor space means you’ll have ample room to enjoy your private life.

4. The premium materials used to build each home

When you live in the Quintana community, you can enjoy being surrounded by premium materials. Each home is outfitted with high-end cabinetry and Pella windows. On the walls of the home, you will discover a hand-applied sand stucco finish.

Within the units, residents will find upgraded door finishes, light fixtures, trim, plumbing fixtures, and baseboards. Meanwhile, the bathrooms, laundry rooms, and kitchens are designed with premium tile floors. Each premium roof underlayment comes with a five-year warranty.

5. Homes are energy efficient

Once you move to your new home, you can enjoy paying less on your electricity bill. At Quintana, the units are designed with energy-efficient features, like insulated UV defense windows. The programmable thermostats can save you up to $180 on your power bill in a single year.

Because the homes use LED light bulbs, your light bulbs will last 25 times longer and use up to 75% less energy each year. Meanwhile, the spray foam insulation can help your home stay cool during the blazing heat of an Arizona summer.

6. It’s full of hiking and outdoor opportunities

Once you’ve moved to the area, you can start exploring everything San Tan Valley has to offer. The 10,000-acre San Tan Mountain Regional Park is only a short distance away. You can learn about the Sonoran Desert’s wildlife, discover Native American petroglyphs, go horseback riding, or hike along some of the park’s top trails.

For a different hike, head over to the Rock Peak Wash Trailhead. This trail spans 7.6 miles in length and is relatively easy. During the hike, you can enjoy looking at the rugged terrain and local birds.

If you need to cool off, the Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center is only 15 miles away from San Tan Valley. Within the aquatic center, you can find swimming pools, a tumble bucket, a water vortex, spray pads, waterslides, a bridge waterfall, and a lazy river.

7. Dine at top restaurants

Need a bite to eat? San Tan Valley and neighboring cities have excellent dining options. For instance, the Barleens Dinner Show in neighboring Apache Junction is the place to go if you want to watch a themed show while you enjoy a fine-dining experience.

While Firehouse Subs is known for having some of the best subs in San Tan Valley, they are also famous for their cheddar brisket. Meanwhile, the Golden Skone is popular for its skone sandwich. Started in 1972, this restaurant is the only one to offer skone sandwiches.
